Stormwater Services
Did you know that the stormwater from our homes flows downstream, eventually making its way to the Catawba River in Van Wyck, South Carolina, and then onward to the Atlantic Ocean? It’s fascinating to see how interconnected our local waterways are with the broader environment.
As members of the Providence Hills community, it’s essential for us to be mindful of how our actions impact the health of our local streams and water bodies. Many homes in our neighborhood are situated in stormwater easements, and issues like flooding during heavy rain events are concerns we’ve heard from residents, particularly those in lower elevations.
